Piano Quest combines adventurous, role-playing gameplay with online group piano lessons to create a one-of-a-kind experience in learning to play the piano.
Each course meets once a week via Zoom for a total of 10 weeks. All the course material provided has been created from the ground up and contains a captivating storyline with a new piano curriculum, weekly challenges, live teaching, demonstration videos, and thematic background tracks. Students will learn the foundations of playing the piano and reading music while unlocking their imagination and creativity.

What do I need to have to participate?

Students will need a piano or keyboard at home and a device to connect to Zoom. A PDF of the piano music will be emailed to students. It is recommended to print out the music or have an iPad/tablet large enough to read at the piano.

What if I miss a class?
​
No problem! Students will be provided with demonstration videos, so they can still practice new skills even if they miss a class. We do hope you can join as often as possible, though- the story is more fun with everyone!

What happens during a typical class?
​
Each 50-minute class will include an engaging storyline that is coupled with the Piano Quest curriculum. There will be time for learning new concepts, and taking turns practicing skills. Students will have options for extra challenges if they feel up to trying something more advanced, and there will be opportunities for creativity, including composing new music.
